Listserv
Members have exclusive access to the Colorado GLBT Bar Association listserv. Members post job opportunities, news, events, and referral opportunities for other members. In addition, members can discuss legal problems they are facing and can seek help from other members.
Networking
The Colorado GLBT Bar Association hosts four events each year. Three networking events are free to members. We host a winter social and a spring social during which members can network. In the summer, the bar association hosts a judicial reception, for which we invite members of the judiciary to join us for an outstanding event. Finally, we host an annual dinner at which we honor an outstanding GLBT attorney and an outstanding GLBT ally.
Community
Members have the opportunity to get to know the broader GLBT and ally legal community who participate in our bar association. We have members across the spectrum from judges to lawyers, paralegals and support staff, and law students from multiple schools.
Law Student Outreach
The Colorado GLBT Bar Association runs a mentor/mentee program for law students and holds and sponsors educational programs at both the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and the CU Boulder Law School. Members can get involved in either of these programs to support our local law schools.
